Koh Kong Province: A two-day practical study and fact-finding visit (September 17–18, 2026) by a delegation from the Supreme Consultation and Recommendation Council to the Stung Tatai Hydropower Station, located in Koh Kong Province, has concluded with complete success and fruitful outcomes.

During the visit, Her Excellency Tieng Chhavivatttei, Vice President of the Kampuchea Rung Roeung Party representing the Supreme Consultation and Recommendation Council, expressed her highest appreciation and deepest gratitude to the Royal Government of Cambodia—particularly the Ministry of Mines and Energy—for its open approach and for facilitating the on-site inspection of energy infrastructure development and production chains for delegates representing 38 political parties.
Her Excellency Tieng Chhavivatttei also extended her profound thanks to local authorities at all levels across Koh Kong Province for their excellent cooperation, which smoothed travel and accommodation throughout the mission. In particular, she highlighted and warmly thanked the leadership, management, and technical staff of the Stung Tatai Hydropower Company for their hospitable welcome, as well as for providing detailed presentations and explanations regarding advanced hydroelectric generation technologies, water resource management processes, and high plant safety standards.

Her Excellency Tieng Chhavivatttei emphasized that this visit not only reflects the spirit of cooperation and openness within the consultative mechanism between the Royal Government and political parties, but also stands as clear evidence of the rapid progress in clean energy and sustainable development in Cambodia. The Tatai Hydropower Project serves as a crucial pillar in supplying green energy to drive national economic growth, reduce dependence on foreign energy imports, and minimize environmental impacts.

All delegates expressed their firm conviction that the development of renewable energy under the leadership of the Royal Government of Cambodia will continue to bring energy stability and prosperity to the entire Cambodian nation. By Tieng Chhavivat tei
